Forecasting and the Practical Implementation of the Legal Ideas of Post-Soviet Russia

Abstract

The article is based on the research of Igor Iv. Lukashuk “Foreign policy of Russiaand international law” devoted to the development of Russian Federation’s foreign policy. This article includes the analysis of Lukashuk’s work, his mains ideas on the direction of Russia’s foreign policy and on the establishment of a new world order, on the growing importance of international law and on the formal enshrinement of international law in the legal system of Russian Federation. This article is concentrated on the relevance and significance of Lukashuk’s ideas today when we have a chance to assess the validity of his projects. It also stresses the importance of his research for the future specialists in the field of international relations.
