Functional organization in the views of David Mitrani (on the 70th anniversary of the publication of the book "Peace and functional development of international organization")

Abstract

The article concerns the main features of the functionalism of David Mitrany. The author analyses the concepts of function and functional agency being the key elements of the theory, reveals the nature of Mitranys internationalism and observes the effectiveness of functionalism as the theory of international organization.
