Abstract

The article analyzes the main problems raised by the modernization of education in modern conditions, and presents possible scenarios of the modernization process in the post-Soviet countries. As a result, a model according to which the basis of the national education policy is necessary to put a strategy relying on competitive advantages and development of a system of measures to consolidate and use of these advantages.
