Формирование Евразийского экономического союза: социально-политические аспекты

Abstract

The article examines the main stages of formation and development of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia as a new high-quality and effective form of economic integration in the post-Soviet space, which has a functioning legal base and therefore attractive to other countries from the economic and socio-political point of view. The prospect of a future Eurasian Union is determined largely by the positive effect already achieved, although there are a number of areas of discussion, such as the functioning of the Eurasian Economic Commission as a supranational body, the prospects of a single currency in the three states, the admission of new members.
