On the question of the arbitration as a modern method of alternative dispute resolution in health care in Russia

Abstract

Arbitration of disputes between subjects of the compulsory health insurance is an innovative and effective way to solve confl icts. The article provides the legal and institutional framework of a specialized arbitration on a 5-year experience of such work in the Court of Arbitration of health insurance and health at the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce. The advantages and some of the problematic issues of the creation and operation of such a social institution are distinguished.
