Abstract

In this article examines the evolution of international legal regulation of cooperation in the field of energy: historical aspects and prospects of such cooperation, key international legal acts, signed by the community of states in the energy sector, the current significance of concepts for increasing the efficiency of energy resources use, and increasing the importance of renewable sources energy, suggests possible steps to improve the situation in the field of international legal regulation of the issues of exchange and use of energy sources.
