Abstract

The article discusses the development of the silk road at the beginning of the XXI century. The conditions for the development of export and transport potential of regions. It is concluded that the silk road became a bridge between East and West. It plays an important role in the development of the regions. Chinese project Economic silk road, proposed in 2013, claims to be the modern Eurasian continental economic bridge.
