Abstract

The article examines social and legal problems of domestic violence. The paper presents analysis of the international law in this area, as well as the results of domestic violence research in Russia, its impact in the world and especially in Russia. The author gives the conclusion about the necessity of improving the legislation on the prevention of domestic violence in the Russian Federation.
